Researcher

From the time she entered college, Dr. Worley had a passion and a drive to understand the meaning of things.  Why does something work the way it does?  What is the meaning of something?  How can things be improved?  These thoughts propelled her into science and eventually medicine.

When not seeing patients or lecturing at conferences and events, Dr. Worley is seeking out pathways to better outcomes.  A dedicated researcher, her works can be found in medical journals, book chapters, documentaries, and magazines.  Her research spans the fields of neurobiology, psychiatry, emergency medicine, infectious disease, and OBGYN.

Dr. Worley's current research endeavors involve hormonal signaling in menstrual migraines and VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean section) practices in the United States.
